Read more First race of the year after late rebuilds work. Old tires and the car was a joy! Shame Go Pro dies and the angle loses Stuart Daburns Tuscan when we are mega close! Yes I fully forgot about gloves; had to squeeze into dads!

Brands Hatch GP - Bernie's V8's - Talbot Sunbeam Lotus - Matthew & Martyn Ellis 2021

Read more This time on the GP still on Nankang AR1's battleing with the big AJPv8 tuscans. Safety cars ruined the fun somewhat however: 3rd overall in Bernie's V8's and 1st in class.

Cadwell Park - CSCC Future Classics - Talbot Sunbeam Lotus

Read more Shame to lose a few cars on the grid; then to have a reduced race of 30 minutes. We was also the only front running car to have a 30 second success penalty. Which made for an exciting end to hunt down smith in his rapid MX5.

HTCC - Spa 6 hour - RS500 Group A vs R32 GTR's - Matthew Ellis

Read more HTCC race at the Spa 6 hour weekend. On board the Paul Mensley; Premier motorsport RS500 group A car. A dry qualifying saw us P2 behind the Wood/Hill r32 GTR and in front of the Hart/Hart Capri and Garrad in another r32 GTR. Race 1 was wet, my first time around spa in the wet! it was epic, so much fun learning the circuit and the car in these conditions. We went with our used wets and kept new for Sundays race. the car did struggle front end under braking as the tyre just did not have the performance in it. Despite that the car was just superb, on the button and so user friendly. I cannot wait to do this all over again! By the end of my stint I had pulled a ten second lead over the chasing pair of skylines before the hand over. Unfortunately we was not to see the end of the race; but made up for it on Sunday in sodden conditions taking P2. Great weekend, thanks to: - Paul/Cassie Mensley, - Premier Motorsport, - Point Racing, - Family.
